Questions people ask
- Does FitCV invent experience?
- No. The model is told to use only your resume. Then a check in code removes any employer, school, degree, date, number, skill or tool that is not in what you pasted, and lists what it removed.
- Is the score what an ATS shows?
- No. Tracking systems do not publish a score. FitCV counts how many of the ad's weighted keywords appear in your resume, and tells you that is what it does.
- What is free?
- The match score and keyword lists, unlimited. One full tailoring (resume rewrite plus cover letter) per day. DOCX and PDF downloads of that result.
- What do I get when I pay?
- $14.90 once buys 10 full tailorings. $19.90 a month gives unlimited tailorings, and you can cancel in Stripe.
- What happens to my resume?
- Scoring happens in your browser. A full tailoring sends the resume and job ad to a language model provider to produce the rewrite. We do not store either one, but the provider sees them.
- Can I upload a file?
- Yes, PDF and DOCX. The text is read in your browser. Scanned image PDFs have no text to read, so paste the text instead.
