The usual trouble with chatbots is that they are eager to please. Ask for a resume 'perfect for this job' and they add the missing tools and a convenient title. FitCV starts from the opposite rule: nothing may enter that your resume does not already say.
What it does change is order and wording. The bullet that best answers the ad moves up. 'Wrote help center articles' becomes 'Wrote knowledge base articles' only if the work is the same, and FitCV leaves that call to you by showing the keyword as missing when it is not sure.
You get the new resume, the score before and after, and a list of anything removed by the check. Pay attention to that list. If a true fact was removed because it was phrased oddly, add it back in your own words.
Free use covers one full rewrite per day and unlimited scoring. A pack of ten rewrites costs $14.90 once.
How it works
- Paste your resume.
- Paste the job ad.
- Run the rewrite.
- Check the removed list, then download.
